xmr-stak 2.4.7 IndeedMiners cryptonight-heavy broken

My rig was running perfectly fine mining sumokoin with hiveos version 0.5-51, but the new indeed fork of xmr-stak included in 0.5-52 seems have broken support for cryptonight-heavy, after downgrading to 0.5-51 everything went back to normal.

    how to re-upload the versions 0.5-51 ?
  • apt-get install -y --allow-downgrades hive=0.5-51

Does this mean it was not fine after removing the currency?

    did not work , grrrr

Command line option 'y' [from -y] is not understood in combination with the other options
  • this is the correct command :/

    apt-get install hive=0.5-51
  • Thats odd, did you upgrade from hive=05-51 to 52? this worked for me on two rigs and consistently.

    apt-get install -y --allow-downgrades hive=0.5-51 (desired Version in bold)
  • yes, I'm 0.5-51 again , but after entering the command as I gave it
  • anybody sort the miner out? best i can get is result rejected by pool
  • i got accepted shares , hashing great , but all of these messages on the screen
Error CL_INVALID_KERNEL_ARGS when calling clEnqueueNDRangeKernel for kernel 2
Error CL_INVALID_KERNEL_ARGS when calling clEnqueueNDRangeKernel for kernel 2
Error CL_INVALID_KERNEL_ARGS when calling clEnqueueNDRangeKernel for kernel 2
Error CL_INVALID_KERNEL_ARGS when calling clEnqueueNDRangeKernel for kernel 2
Error CL_INVALID_KERNEL_ARGS when calling clEnqueueNDRangeKernel for kernel 2
  • Hello @maroirainy

wat do u mean hashing great? Where did u see accepted shares?
  • Can you please assist with currency used in XMR-Stak?
  • Hi I'm trying to mine Loki using XMR-STAK, but it just says "result rejected by pool". Do i need to roll back to previous version of HiveOS? I'm new to Hive, normally use EthOS.
  • I'm not getting any valid shares from pool side, error message as below:
Error CL_INVALID_ARG_INDEX when calling clSetKernelArg for kernel 1, argument 4(input buffer).
Error CL_INVALID_KERNEL_ARGS when calling clEnqueueNDRangeKernel for kernel 2.

    Loki , Sumo , Haven ... cryptonight_heavy
  • Urm yes, use Sumokoin or haven or cryptonight_heavy , either get the same errors as above

"Error CL_INVALID_KERNEL_ARGS when calling clEnqueueNDRangeKernel for kernel 2"

or "result rejected by pool "
  • True. New XMR is broken.

  • we really need a fix for the indeed miners version on hive... hash is great and we are losing alot of hash...
  • Same problem, pls fix it. THX

  • Has anyone managed to fix this?
  • There's a new release 2.4.8

    https://github.com/IndeedMiners/xmr-aeon-stak/releases

Can anyone compile and try it?
  • Compiled tried working good not more errors with the new release 2.4.8

  • please, how do I get it to go on HiveOS?

Yes 2.4.8 seems fixed problem with cn-heavy. Performance also seems like in original 2.4.3
    Going upload to Hive repository
  • Any idea when it will be up? Will we need to update our hiveOS version?

  • THX mate, I learned to compile xmr-stak :)
  • TsMvKax.png

Managed to implement the fork on the web interface

    1) Navigate to /hive/xmr-stak
    2) rm -rf indeedminers
    3) mkdir indeedminers
    4) cd indeedminers
    5) wget http://dl.dropbox.com/s/7utmwn0p7au72n2/xmrstak248.zip
    6) unzip xmrstak248.zip

Now you can run the miner using the selected fork on the wallet section and it shows up on the web interface ;)
  • I get a missing shared library libmicrohttpd.so.10
  • Thank you Octavio for getting it this far.

    After running apt-get update
    apt-get install libmicrohttpd10 libmicrohttpd-dev libssl-dev libhwloc-dev

The miner started, but the shares are still being rejected. I tried 2 separate pools.
