3080 shows as GA102 after thermal change

Thats how it ended after changing thermal pads

Opened many times to recheck everything, its gaming x trio msi if that helps, put 1mm thermalright on memory.

changed risers, cables, updated drivers multiple times.

cant flash nor download bios, it says gpu driver error, nvidia oc error.

Please help !

Visually yes, might try thicker pads although msi support told me its 1mm

On MSI gaming Z trio i gave 2mm
