5700 Not Mining HiveOS 0.6-150

Good afternoon. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I just picked up a 5700xt and unfortunately while it’s being seen by Hive it does not appear to be mining. I’ve looked through the forums and most post regarding this appear to be from earlier this year (2020) and the recommendation was to grab the Beta HiveOS. I am current running 0.6-150 and the beta version being referenced was 0.6-140. Any suggestions on what I might have missed?

I have doubts that you are really using the beta version

I wasn’t because from the changelog and version numbers I made the mistake of thinking the beta changes were rolled into the stable. I will give that a shot, thank you!

Hive OS Linux client version and Linux GPU Image version are not equal things

This was indeed my issue. For anyone who has something similar I had to go to beta.

I am running rx570, geforce 1080 and 5700xt all in the same rig and it works like a champ!

i have beta version, tested beta 1 and 2 but still got Unknown GDDR6 xxx xxx xxx no memory brand shown, what can i do? is a simple xfx 5600xt

first you need the alpha img file which is here then you need to update the driver manually: #cd /hive-driver-pack download the latest driver: #wget https://drivers.amd.com/drivers/linux/amdgpu-pro-20.30-1109583-ubuntu-18.04.tar.xz decompress it: #tar -Jxvf amdgpu-pro-20.30-1109583-ubuntu-18.04.tar.xz enter the directory: #cd amdgpu-pro-20.30-1109583-ubuntu-18.04 uninstall current driver: #amdgpu-uninstall install with the new: #./amdgpu-pro-install --opencl=pal,legacy
