Custom Miner Integration

Has anyone managed to install LyclMiner or Cryptodredge??

Thanks to the HiveOS team for integrating this feature. Having a video showing the custom install process would be great!

Yes, i have for Cryptodredge.

You dont need a custom miner for this as this miner already provides ccminer compatible API. However there is a caveat it doesnt take json config file so you’ve gotta either manually put your wallet details in, or like what i’ve done, write a script to read the pools.conf json and feed it into CryptoDredge miner.

Oh so there’s no way for it to take hiveos’ wallet config then. Have you set it up to be able to launch from the hiveos interface? If so, how? Right now I’m having to run it manually from the terminal

i would love to use the customer miner with tdx-miner & z-enemy but i have no idea, the instructions provided assume you know how to use linux myself & many others above would very much appreciate a video on how to use this feature?

CryptoDredge miner integration for Hive

I see some users want to use CryptoDredge miner with HiveOS, although Hive devs have developed the custom miner integration, however for this miner all that effort is not needed and getting it to work is much simpler as its a ccminer fork and offers API ports for the stats. It already slots right in with all the other Hive stat feedback scripts, with an exception. This miner doesnt take json config, and for all ccminer forks, hiveos creates a json file. You can open my integrations and see a picture where there is an example. Why do You need video? There you need to fill in only 6 fields!

Hello, i tryed to test xm-rig with your custom minet and haven, it doens’t work, tried with --algo=cryptonight-heavy

You put wrong parameters in Pass field which breaks miner command-line, so miner fails to run

You put in Pass field worker 5 which mean something like this -p worker 5, so miner think 5 is also command-line argument and fails because can’t recognize it
