I’m experiencing and reading that AMD cards are not being undervolted properly. The remedy that I’m reading is a kernel modification and some scripting added onto the OC profile script.
My 8x RX580 rig is taking 1350w from the wall right now using a voltage meter.
Is there true power control coming in the future for AMD cards with a HiveOS update? Or am I forced to go back to windows or a different OS that supports it?
On windows I was maxing out around 1000w-1050w on an 8x RX580 mining rig.
Or if there is a simple trick to get it to work that would be great as well since right now I’m just wasting power with the cards not being undervolted properly.
