The top of my 3090 FE is very hot

I recently started to mine with a 3090 founder edition, I noticed that the top of the card, on the memory side is boiling, while the CPU temperature announces 45°C.

So I followed a tutorial to replace the thermal pads, I gained 5MHs but the top of the card is still very hot.

The CPU is still at 45°C, I don’t have the temperature of the RAM, not available on hive.

It’s normal that it’s so hot because I can’t put my fingers on it for more than two seconds, I could cook a steak on it ?

Whats your OC settings? Usually they get quite hot.

Yes the back of the 3090 FEs are hot enough to burn your finger. I changed out my pads and been running stable for 10 plus days. The only thing different in this picture is that I sett my fans on auto today to test its stability. Used to sit at 80% constant.
